Florida football live stream

The Florida Gators has had some ups and downs in recent years, but the team is looking strong this season. Jim McElwain, the new head coach, looks to lead Florida back to the top of the division, but will have an uphill battle with teams like Missouri and Georgia standing in their way. If you’d like to watch a Florida football live stream, we’ll show you how in the guide below.

It will certainly be an exciting season of Florida Gators football, and I’m sure you will want to catch all of the games, even if you have decided to cut cable. Thankfully, there are now several solid options to watch Florida football online, and below I have outlined them all.

Watch Florida Football Online with Sling TV

sling tv

If you are looking to or already have cut cable, but still keep up with nearly all of action this year, Sling TV is a fantastic opportunity to watch Gators football online for nearly every game. Sling (review) offers a basic streaming package with no contract that will give you live access to channels like ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN3 (sign into WatchESPN app with your Sling login; you can even access ABC games this way). These channels will be broadcasting a wide array of SEC games and Florida will certainly receive quality air time throughout the season. The subscription begins at $20 a month and also provides access to over 25 other channels like HGTV, TNT, TBS, and AMC.

On top of its basic package, Sling TV has a Sports Extra Package for an additional $5 per month. The package is another ideal option to follow Florida football. The SEC Network, ESPNEWS, and ESPNU are all included in the add-on package, plus several other channels. The SEC Network will provide 24/7 coverage of SEC sports and it’s a guarantee a majority of that coverage will be dedicated to football throughout the fall. Also, the SEC’s digital platform SEC Network+ becomes available with the Sports Extra package. It can be accessed in the same way as ESPN3, through the WatchESPN app. This is the best way to watch SEC football online as it gives you access to the majority of games all season.

If you are interested in the service, Sling’s 7-day free trial is a valuable opportunity to try out the service. If you do it now, you should be able to catch some great football matchups early in the season and really find out if the service is for you.

If you do decide to sign up for Sling TV, you should use its limited-time offer for a free Roku streaming device or a discounted Apple TV. Both devices will have paid for themselves over the three months and you will have an awesome opportunity to watch Florida football live stream throughout the entire season – on your big-screen TV!

Use PlayStation Vue to Watch Florida Football Live Stream

Playstation Vue

PlayStation Vue is a service that is will provide live streaming access to many Florida Bulldogs games this season, when those games fall on ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPN3. Vue is a streaming service that provides its subscribers with access to 50+ channels, from $30 a month for the basic package. You can read our Vue review for more info.

While Vue gives you easy access to the Florida football live stream, it’s a bit more expensive than Sling TV and offers essentially the same thing. So, for most folks, we recommend Sling TV for Bulldogs football streaming.

Use an Antenna or Your Internet Connection to Watch the CBS SEC Game of The Week

SEC on CBS

During this season, a great option to catch some of Florida’s biggest football games will be through CBS’s over-the-air network channel. Each week, CBS will be broadcasting its SEC Game of the Week and it will also air multiple Saturday doubleheaders. There’s a great chance Florida may appear a few times on CBS. CBS has the first pick on SEC games and will likely be broadcasting some great games throughout the year.

Accessing the CBS broadcast without a cable subscription is easy, you just need an antenna. If you don’t already have an antenna I recommend checking out our antenna buyers guide.

If you’re looking to record the games, pause or rewind while watching live TV, or even stream the action on the go to any of your devices, an over-the-air DVR will let you do all these things and a whole lot more. Click here for a complete guide to the top DVRs for cord cutters.

Listen to Play-by-Play Radio Action of Florida Football Games

Florida football games will be broadcast on a multitude stations throughout Florida and the rest of the south. In particular, ESPN’s Gainesville radio station 95.3 WRUF-FM, will be broadcasting all of the games. You can listen in to 95.3’s coverage online live from your computer. You’ll find Mick Hubert, the undisputed “voice of the Florida Gators”, calling each play for the 24th straight season. Mick is joined by seasoned Gator radio veteran Lee McGriff for the ninth straight year.
