WWE Hell in a Cell 2015 Matches

Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker

brock lesnar vs. the undertaker hell in a cell

The third and (likely) final battle in the Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker saga will take place in a Hell in a Cell match (which is actually a rematch over a decade in the making). While many were surprised this match wasn’t saved for Wrestlemania, it seems the WWE has different plans for each Superstar. It’s a dangerous match for two dangerous men. I’m particularly worried about ‘Taker, as you know he’s going to take some huge bump that a man in his stage of his career absolutely shouldn’t. Hopefully it will all be worth it in the end, and this will be the best match of the trilogy. My pick: Brock Lesnar to solidify his beast status.

Seth Rollins vs. Kane (World Championship Match)

Set Rollins vs. Kane Hell in a Cell

This grudge has been brewing over the course of this past year. If Kane loses, his Corporate Kane persona will be fired, and Dr. Jekyll will likely lose out completely to Mr. Hyde. And honestly, I’d be hard-pressed to believe anything different will happen. The real question here is will WWE do anything in the match to push Seth Rollins in the direction of babyface. Will there be interference by The Shield? Only time will tell.

The New Day vs. The Dudley Boyz (Tag Team Championship Match)

The New Day vs. The Dudley Boyz Hell in a Cell

The tag team division is finally getting some much-needed attention. This matchup is a perfect example of that. As annoying as some think The New Day is, they’re owning their gimmick. Not to mention they’re pretty good workers. And let’s face it, The Dudley Boyz can still go like it’s 1999. Look for this to be a great match with lots of action, but I doubt the title changes hands at this Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt

Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt

I know…I know. Another Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt matchup. Why will the Hell in a Cell 2015 chapter be any different than the rest? It’s inside a cell. First of all, I’d like to not see outside interference (hopefully the Cell ensures this, although, you never know) and a clear winner. Secondly, I’d like to see that winner be Bray Wyatt. I’m still not buying the Reigns hype, and I think it’s time Wyatt went over clean and went on to something greater.

Charlotte vs. Nikki Bella (Diva’s Championship Match)

Charlotte vs. Nikki Bella Hell in a Cell

If you think Charlotte got where she is just because of her dad, think again. She’s a legitimate force in the Diva’s division. With that in mind, expect for her to come out of this rematch with the title still firmly in her grasp.

John Cena vs. ? (Open Challenge U.S. Title Match)

John Cena Hell in a Cell

The John Cena open challenge series is finally coming to an end. There’s a lot of speculation to who he will face, but at this point no one really knows. Here’s what we do know: there are lots of rumors that Cena will be taking a break from WWE after Hell in a Cell. So whoever he faces, odds are Cena’s doing the J-O-B. Here’s hoping for Samoa Joe!

Kevin Owens vs. Ryback (Intercontinental Championship)

Kevin Owens vs. Ryback Hell in a Cell

This is a rematch, and Ryback is looking to get revenge. However, I don’t think it will happen. I feel like the WWE is trying to put some meaning back into the Intercontinental title, so it wouldn’t make sense for Kevin Owens to drop the strap. I hope that his run continues long after WWE Hell in a Cell 2015 and is used as a springboard for him to get a legitimate main event run. After all, that’s what the IC title used to mean.

Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro and Neville vs. Rusev, Sheamus and King Barrett (6-Man Tag Team Kickoff Match)

Six Man Tag Hell in a Cell

I hate to say it, but I hate six man tag matches. Honestly, it always seems like they just throw whoever they can’t find a better place for on the card into these things. It’s kind of like a battle royal. That being said, there is some good talent in this match (I like Rusev, despite the fact that I don’t care for where they’ve been taking his character as of late). I don’t know who will win, but I don’t look for it to have too much impact for the characters either way.
