watch animals online

Jay and Mark Duplass are a quirky film-making team of brothers who have collaborated on sleeper hits like Safety Not Guaranteed and Skeleton Twins. They are also the masterminds behind the HBO show Togetherness. Their newest HBO offering is an animated series called Animals. And don’t assume that because this series is a cartoon, or that because HBO is branching out into more children’s programming, that Animals is appropriate for kids! Want to watch Animals online? We’ll show you how!

The first episode will air at 11:30 p.m. ET on Friday, February 5. Then, you can see for yourself how the Duplass Brother’s quirky style will translate to an animated show. In the guide below, learn how you can watch an Animals live stream from home –  without needing cable!

Watch Animals Online with Sling TV – Live or On-Demand

Sling TV

Sling TV remains our favorite way to access popular cable programming for less than the cost of cable itself. Sling is also the best way to watch Animals online currently. The basic Sling TV package is only $20 per month and gives you access to 20+ of cable’s best channels – and you are able to cancel at any time. There is no pressure and no rate raising shenanigans throughout the year. It is easy to add on HBO for an extra $15 a month. So, that mean’s your looking at $35 per month for Sling with HBO, plus 20+ other great channels like ESPN, TBS, TNT, and many more.

With Sling TV and HBO you can start watching Animals online and keep up with your favorites like Girls, Game of Thrones, This Week Tonight, and The Leftovers. You’ll be able to watch the programming as it airs live and on demand the next day.

You can start now with a free 7 day trial to see if the show, and the service, are right for you. Or, if you sign up for 3 months you qualify for a free Roku 2 or 50% off a new and fancier Roku 3. With the newest device, you can use the voice-activated search function and watch TV while your kids sleep with the headphone jack feature. It is by far our newest favorite feature with Roku. But, don’t worry. The free Roku 2 is as good a device as the newest model and if you take advantage of the 3 months of Sling TV you can think of it like getting the Roku 2 for $10 off the retail price plus Sling TV programming for free! That is a deal way too good to pass up now.

T-Mobile customers, here’s a deal that may interest you! For 12 full months, you pay just $14/month for the basic Sling TV package. That’s a savings of 30%! With no contract to sign, you can cancel whenever you’d like. You will have to pay for the HBO package ($15/month), but for just $29/month you get the 20+ basic channels package + HBO! And, with T-Mobile’s Binge On, you can watch Animals and other favorite shows without a Wifi connection and you won’t even have to worry about going over your data! To get in on this deal, you’ll have to sign up for a new Sling TV subscription with your T-Mobile account here.

Not only can you use Sling TV to watch Animals full episodes on your television with a Roku, it also works with Amazon Fire, Nexus One, and Xbox consoles. Of course, you can always watch it directly on your computer or your mobile devices whether you have an iPhone or an Android.

Watch Animals Online with HBO NOW

hbo now

If you aren’t ready to commit to a big service like Sling TV, or maybe you already have the rest of your TV viewing figured out with services like Hulu, you can always check out the HBO NOW option. Unlike HBO GO, you don’t have to have a pre-existing cable subscription to access the programming on the go.

HBO NOW doesn’t exactly offer Animals live stream, or any of their other shows for that matter, but it does post new programming online at the same time it airs on the network. In this way, HBO NOW is as seamless as live streaming but also offers the ability to watch on-demand anywhere from five minutes to five months after the time it airs.

It will cost you only $14.99 per month and at that price, HBO NOW is a great deal and addition to your cable-free lifestyle.
