Fans of horror have been enjoying the hit television series, Scream. The show is based on the 90’s movie of the same name. Scream revolves around teenagers in Lakewood, a small town, who discover a killer is on the loose after a local high schooler ends up dead. The teenager had been a victim of cyberbullying, and that is definitely linked to her death. Now,  a group of high schoolers and some of their family members must figure out who the  killer is before they are next. Sound interesting?! Keep reading and we’ll tell you how to watch Scream online without selling your soul to the cable companies!

Scream will be returning to MTV for a new season on May 30 at 10 p.m. ET. If you’re a cord cutter you have a few ways you can catch Scream full episodes online. Whether you want a live stream or you’re fine with on-demand options, this guide will offer all the options you need if you’re ready to stream Scream.

Watch the Scream Live Stream on PlayStation Vue

If you want to watch the Scream live stream, the best way to do that is with PlayStation Vue. Offering 60 live stream channels and an on-demand library for just $29.99 a month with no contracts, Vue is a good way to replace cable without sacrificing your favorite content. In addition to MTV, you receive AMC, A&E, Bravo, Lifetime, TBS, and many other channels. You also get live stream local channels if you live in major areas like Philadelphia, San Francisco, or Dallas, among others.

If you’re not in these areas you still receive local channel content, it just arrives in the on-demand library the day after it airs on TV. You can watch Vue on iPad, PS3, PS4, Chromecast, and Amazon Fire TV. One problem with PlayStation Vue (review) that might turn people off is the mobile restrictions. Vue ties you to your home location, which makes it difficult for you to watch things out of the home. If this doesn’t bother you, however, you will find that Vue is a great cord-cutting option in the making. Get your free trial now.

Other Ways to Watch Scream Online: Purchase Full Episodes

If live stream options aren’t for you, there is the option of buying Scream full episodes. On the plus side, you own your episodes, so you can watch them whenever and wherever you want. This method seems inexpensive, but it can add up the more you buy, so it’s recommended that you pick up the season pass to save as much money as possible.

  • Amazon Instant Video: Amazon offers single episodes for $2 and season passes are available for all currently airing shows. You have the option of watching in your digital library or downloading your episodes. New episodes are available as soon as the next day.
  • Vudu: Vudu offers single episodes at $2 a piece and a little bit higher if you want HD. Season passes are available for both video options. New episodes arrive by the next day. You can watch Vudu videos on most devices.
  • iTunes: iTunes offers standard and HD videos, starting at around $3 per episode. Season passes are available. New episodes are delivered within 24-hours of airtime.
