The NCAA Championship game on Monday, April 4th at 9:19 p.m. ET, featuring Villanova vs. North Carolina. The game is one of the most exciting sporting events each and every year. It is because while the individual game is always incredibly thrilling and fun to watch, but also because the events leading up to it are so captivating. Avid and casual sports fans alike have watched seemingly nonstop basketball over the last few weeks during the NCAA Tournament and it has all led to this.
By now you’re bracket is probably busted like mine is (Thanks, Michigan State), but you still somehow cannot stop watching and cannot wait to find out who will be crowned the National Champion this year. If you do not have cable or just want to watch an NCAA Championship game live stream you are in luck. There are plenty of options to do just that, so read on and find out your best bet to watching a National Championship live stream on Monday!
Sign up for Sling TV to Watch a NCAA Championship Game Live Stream
Sling TV is likely the best overall way to watch the National Championship live stream. The cost for a basic subscription to Sling TV is only $20 per month and it can basically replace your cable package all on its own. With the $20 each month you get access to more than 20 popular cable TV channels live. TBS is included, so you can watch an NCAA Championship live stream if you are using Sling TV.
Channels like TNT, ESPN, ESPN2, CNN, and AMC are all also included in the Sling TV (review) package. During March Madness, truTV is included as well and you can watch coverage on TNT or truTV that is tailored to each team in the National Championship if you live in the same region as the team. You can watch a NCAA Champioship live stream on your computer, tablet, phone, or right on the big screen if you have a device like Roku or Chromecast.
In fact, if you don’t have a Roku you can benefit from one of my favorite deals. You can get either a free Roku 2 or half-off a Roku 3 if you subscribe to 3 months of Sling TV. I love this deal because you basically get the Roku 2 for $10 cheaper than the $70 retail cost with Sling TV as a free bonus.
Right now, if you are a T-Mobile customer you can even get Sling TV for only $14 per month (30% off). Plus, if you sign up and decide to watch the National Championship live stream on your phone, it won’t affect your data plan if you have the Binge On Plan with T-Mobile!

Use the March Madness Live App to Watch a National Championship Live Stream (with Cable Login)
As we highlighted in our detailed guide on watching March Madness, the March Madness Live App was an awesome way to watch the NCAA Tournament from your phone or tablet. In fact, you can watch all of the CBS games during the tournament free with the app. Since the NCAA Championship game is broadcast on TBS, the only way to watch it free with the app is by providing a verification of a cable subscription. One option, if you are a cable cutter, would be to borrow a login from a friend. It’d be a simple way, if you have a good enough friend, to watch a NCAA Championship live stream free.
PlayStation Vue- Another Cable Alternative and Way to Watch the National Championship
In 2015, Sony decided to launch a cable alternative, PlayStation Vue, and it will be one more option to watch the NCAA Championship game live stream. It is offered as a way to cut cable, pay a fraction of the price, but still watch tons of live TV. Compared to Sling TV it is a little more expensive at $29.99 per month. But, the basic package does include 50 cable channels, so you could say you are paying for the additional channels. The real setback is if you want to watch PlayStation Vue away from your house many channels are blacked out due to restrictions, so it’s not much of a watch on the go option.
But, PlayStation Vue will let you watch the National Championship game live stream since TBS is included in the basic package! TNT, truTV, ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, and CNN are also included amongst many other channels. The PlayStation Vue stream can be watched with iOS devices, PlayStation Consoles, Amazon Fire TV, or Chromecast. It is definitely another viable way to watch the National Championship game online and if you want to learn any more, check out our full review on PlayStation Vue.
