Cincinnati travels north to Detroit for a matchup against the Lions. There are a few ways for you to watch the Bengals vs. Lions live stream, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18.

Here’s our guide to the Bengals vs. Lions live stream:

Bengals vs. Lions Live Stream on Sling TV

sling tv

Some new updates to Sling TV are making it easier for fans to enjoy the NFL Preseason.

First, Sling TV, which is still offering a 7-day trial, now has the NFL Network live stream as part of its Sling Blue subscription package. Local games watched in-market will be blacked out, but a lot of preseason games are going to be available on the newly added channel.

And second, Sling is now offering some live local broadcasts from local NBC and Fox affiliates. The Bengals vs. Steelers live stream is available in Detroit because the local Fox affiliate there is broadcasting the game (which is another option we’ll mention below). The CBS affiliate in Cincinnati is airing the game in Ohio, so it won’t be on Sling. CBS currently doesn’t offer any friendly options for streaming games.

Sling TV is great for sports fans because it also offers ESPN (that means Monday Night Football!) and ESPN2. Starting at $20 per month, Sling also offers a lot of great channels typically only available through a traditional cable TV subscription. Read our review here.

Sling still has a deal that scores you a free Roku 2 when you sign up for three months of service. Haven’t used Sling TV? Here’s a free, 7-day trial.

Bengals vs. Lions Live Stream, On Demand with NFL Game Pass

NFL Game Pass

Have you heard of NFL Game Pass? It replaces the old Game Rewind service and it’s serving up all preseason games this year. That means you can watch the Bengals vs. Lions live stream and other preseason games for the one-time price of $99 for the season.

With a subscription, you get on-demand access to all 256 regular NFL games. The league also gave us access to all games on-demand dating back to the 2009 NFL season. That’s more than 2,000 games when you include this year’s season.

You can’t watch in-market games on Game Pass. So Bengals fans in Cincinnati are out of luck. But the Game Pass NFL preseason live stream is available once the game concludes on-demand.

Here’s a 7-day free trial for Game Pass.
