The top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers will face off against the fourth-seeded Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals starting on Monday May 2nd. The Cavaliers easily handed the Detroit Pistons, while the Atlanta Hawks bounced back after two losses on the road to close out the Boston Celtics in six games. The LeBron-led Cavaliers will obviously be favorites in this series, but the depth of the Hawks is nothing to sleep on.
It will certainly be an exciting matchup and if you are a cable cutter you’ll surely want to figure out a way to watch a Cavaliers vs Hawks live stream during the series. Thankfully, there are a few options out there and one option, Sling TV, will even let you watch every single game online. Read on to learn more!
Watch Cavaliers vs Hawks Online with Sling TV
Ever since Sling TV was launched in 2015 by Dish Network it has been one of the best options out there for cable cutters and it is definitely the best way to watch a Cavaliers vs Hawks live stream. The two teams will face off in a 7-game series that will be broadcast on TNT, ESPN, and ABC. Sling TV lets you watch every single game of the Cavaliers vs Hawks streaming.
Sling TV (review) starts at $20 per month and lets you watch over 20 cable channels live streaming on your computer, phone, tablet, or your TV with Roku or Chromecast. TNT, TBS, ESPN, ESPN2, CNN, and AMC are just some of the channels included. You can also watch ESPN3 and ABC by logging in to WatchESPN with your Sling TV credentials. You can watch Cavaliers vs Hawks online for free with a 7-day free trial as well, at least a couple games of the series for no cost is a great option.
There are a couple of deals out there for Sling TV as well. T-Mobile customers get 30% off the basic package (now $14 per month) and any mobile streaming isn’t counted as data if you have the Binge On Plan. Another deal, in my opinion the best deal out there for cable cutters, gets you either a free Roku 2 or a Roku 3 50% off when you subscribe to Sling TV for 3 months. You are legitimately getting the Roku 2 $10 off, since it retails at $70, and then Sling TV is just the added bonus. Overall, Sling TV is our top recommended option to watch the Cavaliers vs Hawks streaming throughout the series.
PlayStation Vue is another option to enjoy Cavaliers vs Hawks streaming and it is a service set up very similar to Sling TV. PlayStation Vue was only available in select cities for a while, but has now been rolled out across the United States. There are some differences to Sling TV, like the limitations on what you can watch away from the house since some channels are blacked out if you are streaming on mobile devices. The other is there are slightly more limited options of how you can watch the Cavaliers vs Hawks live stream. You can watch on your computer, PlayStation Consoles, iOS devices, or with Chromecast or Amazon Fire TV, so certainly still good options but slightly more limited at the moment.
PlayStation Vue costs $29.99 per month without any contract and can live stream over 50 cable channels. TNT and ESPN are included and ABC content can be watched on-demand normally 24 hours after it airs. Other channels include FS1,ESPN2, TBS, Comedy Central, CNBC, and many more. Watch the Series Live on ABC with An Antenna
If you decide on PlayStation Vue or just want to watch the Cavaliers vs Hawks live stream on ABC, you can always get a digital antenna. The antenna, like our favorites the Mohu Leaf or Winegard FlatWave, picks up the broadcast from channels like NBC, ABC, FOX, and CBS and plays it in amazing HD right on your TV for no cost!
You can even improve on this setup by combining the antenna and an over-the-air DVR. One example, the Tablo, not only includes traditional DVR features, but would also let you stream the Cavaliers vs Hawks online. It connects to the internet and lets you watch anything your antenna picks up on your phone, computer, or tablet.
