Enjoy NFL Preseason Live Stream and Replays with Sling TV

Sling TV provides an excellent option for watching NFL preseason games online, especially with their ongoing free 7-day trial offer.

Sling TV, a live streaming service from Dish Network (review here), allows subscribers to watch ESPN and ESPN2 live using their internet connection. The service has packages starting $20 a month with no contract, and it includes over 25 other popular channels like AMC, TBS, TNT, HGTV, CNN, and more. Some packages offer up to 60 channels! You can watch Sling TV on your TV (using a streaming player like the Roku or Apple TV), smart TV, phone, tablet, or computer.

Sling TV has just added the NFL Network streaming to its Sling Blue package. This is great news because NFL Network airs all 64 preseason games, including 16 live games (other games are aired on replay at various times; check the channel’s schedule).

Additionally, NFL Network has round-the-clock analytical and football news coverage to keep you busy even when there’s not a game on. It will also be very useful to have during the regular season, especially because it includes NFL RedZone in its Sports Extra package which covers the most exciting red zone moments from each game live on Sundays.

In addition to the games on ESPN, Sling TV users in select markets will also be able to watch four additional games that are set to air on NBC and FOX. Both NBC and FOX are offered by Sling TV, but only in select markets. These games will also be simulcast on NFL Network, although they may not be offered live. Check Sling TV’s website for availability.

It’s also worth mentioning that Sling TV is currently running a special that’s ideal for NFL fans. If you sign up for 3 months of service, you can get a free Roku or a cheap Apple TV for your TV. Why should you care about this deal? Because Sling TV will be useful for watching NFL games all season long. So, if you want to stream all of the games live throughout the season, this is a deal you might want to take advantage of. Click here to see the current deals Sling TV is offering.

Watch NFL Preseason Streaming Live and On Demand with NFL Game Pass

NFL Game Pass

The league recently revamped its streaming options for football fans wanting to watch NFL games online in the US. Recently, it discontinued its Game Rewind streaming service in the US and replaced it instead with NFL Game Pass.

What is NFL Game Pass? The new streaming service provides access to all 256 regular season NFL games on demand and also offers an NFL preseason streaming option to watch the games live online. Game Pass will stream all out-of-market preseason games live, which excludes games televised in your local market or on national television. Those games not included on the Game Pass NFL preseason live stream will be made available on demand shortly after the game. So, you still have a great option for watching your favorite team’s NFL preseason games online. Check your local NFL preseason TV schedule for details on locally-broadcast games that will be excluded from Game Pass’ NFL preseason live stream.

Subscribers can watch NFL Game Pass on a number of TV streaming players (Xbox One, Apple TV, and more), tablets, computers, smartphones, and more devices to be announced shortly. Another great feature is you can watch every NFL game since 2009 on demand , including the Super Bowls. Game Pass is $99 a season, but you can get a 7-day free trial now by clicking here.

Simply put, this is a great option for the avid football fan to watch the NFL preseason streaming without a cable subscription. Click here to learn more about NFL Game Pass. You can also read my full write up on the service here.

Use PlayStation Vue to Watch NFL Preseason Online

Playstation Vue

Another solid option for accessing an NFL Preseason live stream is to use PlayStation Vue. Like Sling TV, Vue also offers a number of popular TV networks without a cable subscription.

Included in Vue’s plans, which start from $30 a month, are channels like ESPN, NBC and FOX. Note that while ESPN is available live nationwide, FOX and NBC are on-demand only (but still available nationwide). So, that means that with Vue you’ll be able to access NFL Preseason streaming when the games fall on ESPN, and you’ll be able to catch up on the games that air on NBC and FOX starting the day after they air live. Vue will also offer NFL Network in some of its packages starting this season.

Vue is available without a contract, and is very easy to use. You can use it on many major streaming devices, including Roku, Chromecast, PS3/PS4, Amazon Fire TV, iPad and more. Read our PS Vue review for more info.
