In a move to expand its Spanish cable TV alternatives for its U.S. subscribers, Sling TV has just released two all-new Latino add-on packs. Available now, Sling Latino includes Deportes Extra, a package of Spanish-language sports channels aimed at soccer fans, and Peliculas & Novelas Extra, an 8-channel lineup of the hottest Spanish-language movies and telenovelas. Like other Sling TV add-on packs, each Sling Latino offering is available for an additional $5 per month on top of the streaming service’s affordable $20 per month basic package.
According to a press release sent out by the company, the new Sling Latino bundles make “Sling TV the first internet TV provider with a customizable offering that incorporates live Spanish and English programming.”
Both Sling Latino add-on packs include video on-demand content in addition to the live channels, with new content being added on a regular basis. According to Sling CEO Roger Lynch, Sling TV will “expand [their] Latino offering with more sports, shows and movies that viewers want to see in the language they prefer” over time.
