Watch Ohio State Football Online Through Sling TV

Sling TV reviews

A prime service to watch a majority of the Ohio State football games this season, without cable, is Sling TV. The service offers subscribers the option to watch cable channels via a live stream over an internet connection. The subscription covers over 30 popular channels, like TNT, ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN3 (Through the WatchESPN app via your Sling login). The addition of the WatchESPN app means you will be able to watch Ohio State games that are broadcast by ABC as well. The cost of the basic package is $20 per month and does not require any sort of contract, meaning you can cancel any time.

Beyond the initial package, which will let you watch any Ohio State football games live if they are broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, or ABC you can also add more coverage through one of Sling’s add-on packages. The Sports Extra Packages costs only $5 more per month and brings full access to ESPNU, ESPNEWS, and other sports channels.

You can currently try Sling TV for 7 days for free and watch the next Ohio State game live online without any cost. Also, there is a limited-time offer ongoing for a free Roku 2 or save huge on Apple TV if you prepay for three months of the service upfront. Both devices will let you watch Sling’s live TV directly on your television. For the three months, you’ll be able to watch Ohio State football live on your TV and both devices will have paid for itself over the three months.

PlayStation Vue Offers Another Way to Watch Ohio State Football Live Stream

Playstation Vue

PlayStation Vue is Sony’s live streaming service that is similar to Sling TV.

Vue has 3 different channel packages (our Vue review has all the info) with an impressive number of channels. However, Vue’s starting price of $30-$40 each month (price varies by market) is higher than Sling. Vue does have Big Ten Network, however, in one package, which is great for keeping up with conference action.

Sling TV is still the better deal than Vue in our opinion. Plus, it doesn’t restrict mobile streaming when you’re outside of your home like Vue does.

Watch Ohio State Games Airing On ABC’s Over-The-Air With an Antenna

During the season, there will be some Ohio State football live stream broadcasted on ABC’s main network. A great option for watching these games would be using an antenna to access ABC’s over-the-air broadcast. The antenna can receive channels like FOX, NBC, ABC, and CBS and can be watched directly on your TV.

If you’re interested in recording games, pausing live TV, or even connecting the live stream from your antenna directly to your phone, tablet, or computer you should look into a Tablo DVR. It allows you to watch the stream from your antenna anywhere you can get an internet connection or record games to watch at a better time. Click here for my complete guide to over-the-air DVRs.

CBS College Sports Live

Throughout the college football season, CBS’s College Sports Live will be live streaming an audio broadcast of each Ohio State game. There may be some available as a video stream, but you’ll need to check CBS’s broadcast schedule on the College Sports Live website. The service recently announced a new feature, IMG’s College Football Blitz, which will broadcast ten straight hours of college football each Saturday. It features on-demand and live highlights, interviews, and cut ins to games in real time. It begins at noon on Saturdays and is a great resource to track all of the college football action each week.

The subscription starts at $9.95 per month and also has an option for $99.95 for the entire year, which saves about two months’ worth of subscription costs.

Catch Ohio State Football Games On Over 30 Radio Stations

Ohio State football games will be broadcast each week throughout the state of Ohio and on the Ohio State IMG Radio Network. The broadcast can be listened to on the network here. Each game will feature a pre-game show starting 90 minutes before kickoff and a 60-minute post-game show discussing all the ups and downs of each game.
