The Miami Marlins are always a fun team to watch, regardless of how the last few seasons have gone. Marlins fans are certainly excited to watch this season play out, especially with the addition of several new players. Looking to watch the Miami Marlins online? You’ve come to the right place!
If you are looking to watch the Marlins online during the course of the season there are several options out there for you. Below is a guide detailing all of the various ways to legally watch a Marlins live stream online or on your TV with no need for a cable package. Read on to figure out which options will work best for you this year.
Use fuboTV for the Miami Marlins Game Stream
fuboTV will provide an easy method to watch Marlins games online, as long as you live in the Florida area. Local fans will get FOX Sports Florida, which offers the vast majority of the Marlins’ games. You’ll also get FS1 and lots of other sports channels, but not a whole lot of baseball coverage outside of the FOX Sports regionals. So, for that reason, we mostly recommend this service for folks who live in the Miami area.
If you subscribe to fuboTV, you’ll also experience high-definition Miami Marlins streaming as well as the ability to record and playback important games on the cloud DVR.
Watch the Miami Marlins Online With a Sling TV Subscription
Sling TV is another good option for watching the Marlins online. For local fans (living in the Miami area), it will offer nearly every Marlins game of the season. And even for folks living outside the Miami area, it still offers tons of live baseball coverage.
For local fans (living in the Miami area), we recommend Sling Blue for $25/month (free 7-day trial), which offers 40+ channels. If you live in the Miami area this package will get you the FOX Sports Regional network (FOX Sports Florida) that covers the Marlins! So, local fans can watch nearly EVERY Marlins game live stream of the season!
For non-local fans, the basic Sling Orange package will do, because it includes ESPN and TBS. TBS broadcasts several playoff series and weekly games during the last 13 weeks of the season. ESPN will be broadcasting up to 90 MLB games on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sunday nights. FS1 is also offered in some packages, as well as FOX in select locations regionally.
The starting package only costs $20 per month for Sling TV and you can watch a Miami Marlins live stream on your tablet, phone, computer, or TV. Devices like the Roku or Chromecast will let you watch on your TV and you can even get a Roku streaming device for free if you subscribe to Sling TV for three months. If you’re a local living in the Miami area, we recommend going with Sling Blue for $25 per month, so that you get the FOX Sports Florida stream.
There are more than 30 other channels included on Sling TV (review) like TNT, ESPN2, CNN, HGTV, AMC, and others. If you are interested you can start a free 7-day trial now. And, you can even get 30% off of Sling TV if you are a T-Mobile customer, down to only $14 per month!
DIRECTV NOW Lets You Stream the Marlins Game Live
DIRECTV NOW will be another top option this season to watch the Miami Marlins online. It’s a great all-around cable replacement, as well, offering up some of the best channels without the need for a cable subscription.
We recommend going with the Just Right package, which is $50 per month (no contract) and offers 80+ channels. This package will give you MLB Network, ESPN, TBS, FS1, and much more. And, if you’re in the Florida area, you’ll also get FOX Sports Florida which is home to 90%+ of Marlins games!
No contract is required, and you can watch on most devices. Check out the DIRECTV NOW devices list for details.
Access a Marlins Live Stream through Sony’s PlayStation Vue
PlayStation Vue came onto the market in 2015 as a cable alternative and it will let you watch the Marlins online. Originally, it was only available in select cities, but now Sony has rolled it out nationwide. We recommend the Core plan, which costs $35 per month, and offers 60+ channels including FS1, MLB Network, TBS and ESPN. Local fans will also get the FOX Sports Florida regional network.
TNT, CNBC, CNN, AMC, USA, and ESPN 2 are some of the other channels included in the package. There are also several different packages available if you want more selection. You can learn more about those packages in our review here. You can watch a Miami Marlins live stream on your mobile devices, with Chromecast, Roku, Apple TV, or Amazon Fire TV, and on PlayStation Consoles.

Use MLB.TV to Watch Nearly Every MLB Game Online
MLB was early in offering its online streaming service, MLB.TV, compared to many other streaming sites. It has been around for a while and is one of the best options for baseball fans to watch tons of games online. You can definitely use it to watch the Miami Marlins online as well. There are some limitations since you will be blacked out for Marlins games if you are in the local broadcast area. But, you can watch all 30 MLB games, other than blackouts, with MLB.TV, so it’s a pretty impressive service.
If you are outside the broadcast area and watch to watch only a Marlins live stream, you can sign up for $87.49 for the entire season. If you want to watch every team’s games with MLB.TV you can sign up for $112.99 for the year. Find out more about MLB.TV in our full review.
