Get a San Diego Padres Live Stream with Sling TV

Sling TV

Sling TV, a subscription streaming service offered by Dish Network, will be a great option to watch the Padres online. Sling is a non-contract online streaming provider that you can use as a cable alternative.

If you live in the San Diego area, we recommend signing up for Sling Blue, the $25/month package. This package offers FOX Sports San Diego streaming, which means access to nearly every Padres game live stream of the season. 40+ channels are included, as well, like FS1, AMC, TBS, and much more.

If you don’t live in the San Diego area, we recommend signing up for Sling Orange, the $20/month package. This package offers ESPN, which broadcasts up to 90 MLB games, as well as TBS which has more ownership come playoff time including a Wild Card Game, two entire Divisional series, and one of the two League Championships. Also, TBS airs a weekly game during the last 13 weeks of the regular season. The basic package offers 25+ channels in total, with plenty for the whole family. See the Sling TV channels list for details.

Whatever package you choose, you’ll be able to watch live TV on your smartphone, tablet, computer, etc. as well as on your TV using a streaming device. If you need a device to use, you can get a free Roku streaming device if you prepay for 3 months of Sling TV in advance.

Watch Every MLB Game Online with MLB.TV (local teams blacked out)

MLBTV

The official streaming service of Major League Baseball, MLB.TV, is just another way to watch a San Diego Padres live stream. In fact, depending on where you are located you can watch the Padres online every single game this season. MLB.TV does blackout games broadcast in your local area, so likely anyone around San Diego can’t watch the Padres online. But, the game does become available around 90 minutes after the game is finished, so you can still use it as a resource.

Every game of all 30 MLB teams is available (other than blackouts) through MLB.TV (review), so you can always use it to keep up with all of the games around the league. If you do not live in the area, you can definitely use it to watch the San Diego Padres online and if you choose to only watch the Padres it costs $87.49 for the season. If you want access to any MLB team’s games you’d like, it costs $112.99. There are some rumors about a potential new service to watch your local team’s games live, with no blackouts, but you’ll likely need to authenticate you have a cable subscription.

There is even more to learn about watching baseball online which you can find in our baseball live stream guide for cable cutters.
