Watch LA Clippers Live Stream with Sling TV

Sling TV

For people who have recently cut cable, Sling TV should be one of the first services you look into. Sling TV is great because it provides a lot of the same content that cable does, at a fraction of the price.

Here’s how it all works:

  • Sling TV is an online streaming service. You can use it on your computer or mobile devices, or on your TV via a streaming device (Roku, Chromecast, gaming consoles, etc.)
  • Sling TV is similar to cable in that it offers subscribers access to live streaming of many common and popular cable TV networks
  • Subscribers will gain access to live content from Food Network, Disney Channel, TNT, TBS, ESPN, ESPN 2, and more – up to 60+ channels are available, depending on the package
  • Unlike cable, Sling TV is no contract. No need to commit to more than 1 month at a time!

So that’s all fine and dandy, but how does it help you stream the Clippers game this week? How is Sling TV a viable way to watch the Los Angeles Clippers online this season? Here’s how:

  • If you live in the Los Angeles area, you will get access to two great regional FOX Sports networks with your Sling Blue package: FOX Sports West, and FOX Sports Prime Ticket
  • These channels are home to ALL Clippers games, all season long!
  • That means that LA-area residents can use Sling TV to watch the Clippers online for nearly EVERY game, throughout the entire season!
  • Sling Blue is $25 a month, and includes 40+ channels
  • You can try the service for free for 7 days

So, simply put, Los Angeles area residents can use Sling Blue to stream Clippers games every week all season long. But what if you don’t live in California? Well, you can still watch some games, because Sling offers ESPN and TNT streaming, which will be useful during the regular season as well as for the NBA playoffs live stream. As you know, ESPN airs NBA games every week on Wednesdays and Fridays, while TNT airs games every Thursday and some Tuesdays. Note that ESPN is not included in all packages.

Sling TV will also give you access to the WatchESPN App on your smartphone or tablet. This app lets you watch NBA games that air on ABC.

Overall, Sling TV is a great way to watch the Los Angeles Clippers online, particularly if you’re a local fan. If you’re still on the fence, there are a couple killer sign up bonuses that should be taken advantage of:

Watch LA Clippers Game Live Stream with Playstation Vue

vueStreaming services are getting more popular as more and more people move away from cable TV. In an effort to join in on the growing movement of cord-cutting, Sony has introduced a new online streaming service. Known as Playstation Vue, this service is now available nationwide, and is growing quickly!

Playstation Vue (review here) offers several different packages, starting from $29.99. The subscriptions give you access to live streaming of a number of popular TV networks, similar to Sling TV. Playstation Vue includes access to TNT and the ESPN networks, which as we know host NBA games every week and throughout the playoffs. That means you can stream Clippers games live on Vue, for select games. See the LA Clippers schedule for details.

Right now, Sony is still rolling out this product. It’s currently only available on a few devices (PS gaming consoles, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, and iOS mobile devices) and there are severe mobile streaming restrictions outside of your home network. For now, Sling TV is a better value.

Watch LA Clippers Live Stream and Replays with NBA League Pass

nba league pass

The NBA itself offers its very own online streaming service. It’s called NBA League Pass, and if you want to watch basketball without cable, it might be a good choice for you.

However, this service has one huge downside: local teams are blacked out. Because of this, it’s actually a better service for fans who DON’T live near their favorite teams.

Here’s how it all works:

  • NBA League Pass is the full-fledged version of this service, which costs $199.99 per season
  • With the full League Pass, you’ll be able to watch every regular season NBA game live, for every team in the NBA
  • You’ll also be able to catch on-demand replays of each game using an online library
  • If you’re just looking to follow a single team, NBA Team Pass provides access to one team for $119.99 per season
  • Both versions also include access to a large library of classic NBA game replays
  • The NBA also offers a Single Game Pass for just $6.99 – perfect if you just want to catch a certain game or two throughout the season.
  • *All versions include local blackouts*

You can use League Pass on various devices, including computers, tablets, smartphones, and streaming players.

NBA League Pass offers the most basketball coverage of any service on this list, by far. However, there are two downsides: price, and local blackouts. The price of the full service is pretty high at $199.99 per season. Also, local teams will be blacked out from local fans – meaning if you live in the Los Angeles area, you won’t be able to watch the LA Clippers live stream using NBA League Pass.

Watch FREE Basketball Using Your Antenna

antenna DVR combo

A lot of people don’t know this, but an HD antenna will allow you to watch several over-the-air TV channels, for free! OTA channels like local news channels and nationally broadcast channels such as Fox and ABC will all come through for free, with no cable or other subscription. All you’ll need is a quality antenna. Don’t have one? We recommend a few in our TV antenna shopping guide.

The fact that you can pick up ABC for free is awesome for basketball fans, because ABC hosts featured NBA games throughout the season. Sure, it’s not a complete solution, but the price is right!

If you don’t always have the time in your busy day to catch these games live, you can still watch replays of them by recording the games using a DVR. Our full DVR comparison guide will tell you everything you need to know about DVRs.

Watch the LA Clippers Online for Free with TNT Overtime

TNT Overtime is a completely free online streaming service offered by TNT Network. Basically, it simulcasts some of the NBA games that TNT hosts each week. On TNT Overtime, you can watch these games for free, and you can even watch from more than one camera angle at once (up to 4 angles simultaneously!).

TNT Overtime will host many free NBA streams this upcoming season. It’s an easy way to watch the Clippers game live online for free, but it’s far from a complete solution.

Watch the Clippers Online with no Blackouts using NBA League Pass International

Do you live somewhere outside of the United States? Do you love basketball? If so, NBA League Pass International is the service for you!

We’ve already talked about the domestic version of League Pass. The International version is almost exactly the same, with one difference: it doesn’t black out any teams. So, if you live outside the US, you can use League Pass International to watch live streams of EVERY regular season NBA game from EVERY team in the league!
