Watch Denver Nuggets Live Streams on Sling TV
Have you heard of Sling TV? If you’ve recently cancelled cable, you really should learn about this popular cable-alternative.
Basically, Sling TV is very similar to cable TV, in that it gives you access to cable channels. The basic package from Sling TV offers 25+ popular cable networks, which you can watch live at any time. In that regard, it’s similar to cable – on the other hand, Sling is much different (and better) than cable because: 1. it’s $20 per month, compared to the sky-high prices of cable, and 2. it’s no-contract – no commitments, no long-term contracts – just a simple month-to-month plan that you can cancel whenever you want.
So, what exactly do you get with Sling TV? Here are the highlights:
- Live access to channels like A&E, TNT, TBS, Disney Channel, ESPN, and more
- Stream content on all your devices – streaming players, mobile devices, computers, and more
- Live NBA games on ESPN live stream, ESPN2, and TNT online.
- Other sports coverage on ESPN and ESPN2
- Great deals on 3 months of Sling TV: choose from a discount on an Apple TV, or a completely free Roku 2 with a 3 month subscription
- T-Mobile subscribers can get Sling TV for 30% off!

So, what about the NBA? How can you use Sling TV to watch basketball?
Sling TV lets you watch all games that ESPN airs. ESPN hosts games every week, usually every Wednesday and Friday – check out the NBA on ESPN schedule. Sling also lets you watch all games on TNT, which take place every week on Thursdays and some Tuesdays – see the NBA on TNT schedule. You can also watch the NBA All Star Game online on TNT. Lastly, ABC is included on Sling, meaning you can watch featured games every weekend – see the NBA on ABC schedule for more information.
Sling TV is an affordable, simple, and accessible way to watch the Denver Nuggets online without cable. You can sign up for a free 7-day trial to try it out for yourself!
Use PlayStation Vue to Watch the Denver Nuggets Online
PlayStation Vue is a new streaming service that’s rapidly expanding to fit the needs of the growing cord-cutter community. This season represents the first time that PS Vue will present a pretty good way to watch a Denver Nuggets game live stream.
Basically, the service works a lot like Sling TV: you sign up, pay $30 a month (with no contract), and you can live stream some 50+ channels. There are lots of channels, but the only two that are useful for NBA are ESPN and TNT. As we discussed, these two channels will host a lot of NBA games throughout the season.
You can read our PlayStation Vue review to learn more, but for now, know this: Sling TV provides more NBA coverage, for a cheaper price, so therefore we recommend Sling TV over Vue for the time being.
Watch Denver Nuggets Live Streams and Replays with NBA League Pass
For dedicated basketball fans who want to watch the most basketball possible, NBA League Pass is a good choice. This service offers the most NBA content of any competing service – which is no surprise, given it’s the official streaming service from the NBA itself.
NBA League Pass gives fans access to live streaming of every regular season game – in full HD. You’ll also be able to watch on-demand replays of games, starting a few hours after they air. All replays are stored in a large library, so you can watch them whenever you want. The library also includes replays of past classic NBA games, plus replays of current-season NBA playoffs.
NBA League Pass can be viewed on a variety of devices. Computers, tablets, smartphones, and streaming devices are all compatible. This provides a lot of flexibility, which is another major benefit over cable.
However, NBA League Pass is not without flaws. The major downside to this service is that NBA League Pass blacks out local teams. Because of local TV broadcasting rights, local teams cannot be viewed on online streaming services. This means that Nuggets fans living in the Denver area will not be able to watch their team play on League Pass. If you live outside of the area, you’ll be able to watch the Nuggets online with League Pass.
There are three different versions of this service:
- NBA League Pass provides full access to all teams, for both live and on-demand streaming (local blackouts apply) – costs $199.99 per season
- NBA Team Pass provides full access to one single team of your choosing, for both live and on-demand streaming (local blackouts apply) – costs $119.99 per season
- NBA Single Game Pass provides full access to one single game of your choosing, for live streaming (local blackouts apply) – costs $6.99 per game
Overall, NBA League Pass is a good way to watch the Denver Nuggets online – as long as you don’t live in the Denver area. It’s a bit expensive, but it does provide a lot of content.
Watch NBA Games for Free with Your Antenna
Would you like to watch some NBA games this season, for free? Why not!
Surprisingly, there’s an easy, safe, and legal way to watch NBA games for no cost at all. All you need to do is get a quality HD antenna, and you can tune in to over-the-air networks.
With an antenna, you can pick up over-the-air networks like Fox and ABC. Since ABC hosts featured NBA games throughout the season, you can watch all those games for free. Check out the NBA on ABC schedule to see what games you can watch.
If your schedule doesn’t allow for live viewing, you can always record the games to watch later. If you already have a DVR, you’re good to go. If not, check out the over-the-air DVR comparison guide we put together to find the right option for you.
So, you’ve learned about NBA League Pass and how it blocks out local teams. However, if you’re a basketball fan living outside of the US, you can get a similar service known as NBA League Pass International.
This service is almost identical to the standard service described earlier in this guide, with one huge difference: there are no blackouts on the international version. That means you can use this service to watch games from EVERY team in the NBA – no local blackouts! Click the following countries to view their NBA League Pass offerings: Australia, Ireland and UK.
