Regular Season

The NFL 2016-2017 regular season kicks off at long last in early September, and continues all the way through early January 2017. For Bills fans, the best ways to watch the Buffalo Bills online during the regular season are found below. For fans of other teams, we have a detailed guide explaining how to watch the NFL online.

Watch Buffalo Bills Live Stream for Select Games with Sling TV

sling tv

Sling TV will provide an affordable way to catch a few Bills games online, without needing expensive cable or satellite subscriptions.

Sling TV is an affordable new service that gives subscribers streaming access to 25-60+ of cable TV’s most popular networks (depending on the package you choose), without the need for a cable subscription. Sling TV lets you watch ESPN online, so you’ll be able to enjoy all the great ESPN programming live, including Monday Night Football. Sling TV is the best way to watch MNF without cable by far. And, since it’s priced at just $20 per month (and no-contract!) you’ll save a bunch when compared to cable TV.

In various packages, Sling TV also offers NFL Network (home to TNF and NFL RedZone, plus tons of news/analysis), as well as NBC and FOX in select markets. With these channels, you’ll be able to watch SNF online and watch TNF online as well as catch some local games on FOX. Do note that channel availability depends on your location – see our Sling TV review for details.

Sling TV can be enjoyed on your computer or mobile device, or on your TV with the help of a streaming device. If you already have a streaming device, you’re good to go. If not, you’re in luck as Sling TV is currently offering a free Roku 2 with a 3-month subscription. If you’d prefer an Apple product, you can go for a deep discount on an Apple TV with the same 3-month subscription package.

And remember, Sling TV does not require a contract, so you’re never locked in and can cancel at any time. You can even sign up for a free 7-day trial of Sling TV to test the service out!

Enjoy Bills Live Streaming All Season Long with NFL Sunday Ticket

NFL Sunday Ticket may just be your golden ticket to unlimited live streaming of every out-of-market Sunday NFL game of the regular season.

This service is offered to DirecTV satellite subscribers, and indeed the package already comes included with some subscriptions. If you’re a current DirecTV subscriber, call to see how you can add the service to your package – it’s well worth it.

Now, there’s also an option for folks who can’t get DirecTV. The NFL Sunday Ticket streaming package is a service intended only for those who cannot get DirecTV satellite service. Usually, this refers to people living in dorms, apartments, etc. which are not eligible for DirecTV. If you fall into this category, you may qualify for this service. Sunday Ticket starts at $49.99 per month for the 4-month NFL season.

If you’re a college student, or you have a family member who is, you might qualify for Sunday Ticket U. This service is identical to the standard Sunday Ticket streaming service, except for it’s half the price at just $24.99 per month!

The best way to check if you qualify is to call DirecTV at 888-648-7389 to learn more.

Watch Regular Season Buffalo Bills Games On Demand with NFL Game Pass

NFL Game Pass

NFL Game Pass is a service we’ve already talked about for its live preseason streaming. However, the usefulness of this service doesn’t end after the preseason. With Game Pass, you can enjoy on-demand replay streaming of every regular season NFL game! You won’t be able to catch Buffalo Bills live stream, but you can view it on your own schedule starting the same day it airs on TV (usually immediately after the game).

So, with this $99-a-year service, you can stream literally every single regular season NFL game, in full HD, whenever you want. That’s 256 games to enjoy at your own pace. Plus, you can save some time by opting to watch 30-minute game replays, which have all the commercials and stoppages cut out. You also can get some exclusive camera angle views with Game Pass’ Coaches Film feature. Lastly, you’ll be able to tune in to live audio coverage of every game so you’ll never miss a moment.

Game Pass gives you everything you need to stay current with the 2016-2017 season. But the fun doesn’t end there. Game Pass subscribers will gain access to a HUGE library of past NFL games, which includes every single game from every season dating back to 2009. Yeah, you read that right – every game, every season, for the last 7 years. You can even rewatch epic Super Bowl throwdowns of years past!

Use Sony’s PlayStation Vue to Watch Buffalo Bills Live Stream

Playstation Vue

Sony’s new streaming service, called PlayStation Vue, provides another good way to watch the Bills online during the regular season. It actually offers pretty much the same thing as Sling TV; channels like ESPN, NFL Network, NBC and FOX are available from both services (although availability varies by location.)

You can learn all about the service in our PlayStation Vue review. For now, know this: while Vue is certainly a good service, Sling TV is better. For one, Sling works on practically every device, whereas Vue has more limited device compatibility. Secondly, Sling is cheaper, with packages starting at $20 vs Vue’s starting price of $30. And, Vue doesn’t offer any generous sign up bonuses. So, if your goal is to watch the Buffalo Bills online, both Vue and Sling TV will work; but Sling is the better choice for the majority of people.

Watch Locally Aired Games Over-the-Air with an Antenna (and DVR)

All you need to do is check your local listings to see when the game is playing, and tune in to enjoy! You’ll need a quality HD antenna in order to view the game in HD.
