On Sunday, February 7th at 6:30 p.m. ET the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos will face off in Super Bowl 50. It is the game sports fans have been waiting all year for and it looks to be one for the ages. The full guide below has all the details you’ll need to watch the Super Bowl online.
The game will feature two incredibly different quarterbacks in Cam Newton and Peyton Manning. Newton is hitting his stride in his young career and is currently the leading MVP candidate thanks to his rocket for an arm and ability to use his athleticism to make plays. Manning was plagued by injuries all season and has fallen into more of a “game manager” role for the Broncos. Regardless of the style, both quarterbacks have been good enough to make it to the Super Bowl and this will be their last test of the season.
Super Bowl 50 will likely go down as one of the more memorable games in recent history, thanks to some great storylines leading into it. There are rumors this could be Peyton’s last year and a lot of fans are hoping he goes out on top. If you are a sports fan, you will not want to miss any of the Super Bowl live stream. Keep reading to find out all of the best options on Super Bowl Sunday to watch the big game live or on-demand!
Watch the Super Bowl Live Stream Free Thanks to CBS
CBS announced earlier in the year it would be live streaming 6 NFL games free on its website. The six games included two regular season games and one game from each round of the playoffs. On Feb. 7th, CBS will be offering a Super Bowl live stream free of any cost to you. Even though you have to watch it on the CBS website it is an awesome deal to be able to actually watch the Super Bowl free. The inability to watch on your TV is definitely a hang up, but it’s tough to complain about the zero dollar price tag. There are options, which you’ll see below that do actually let you watch the Super Bowl live on your TV!
Also of note, CBS has a streaming service, CBS All Access, which costs $5.99 per month and there have been suggestions that it may feature more NFL games next year. Following the Super Bowl, CBS All Access will be broadcasting Stephen Colbert’s one-hour special. Many are planning to tune in after the game and this is a great way to watch the always entertaining Colbert without cable. Check out our full review of CBS All Access here.

Sling TV is a subscription streaming service offered by Dish Network that has grown in popularity as a viable cable alternative. It costs a fraction of the price of cable, but still offers over 20 popular channels to live stream. Sling TV can be viewed on your phone, tablet, computer, or television by using a device like Roku or Chromecast.
Some of its biggest strengths are its ability to let cable cutters watch live sporting events and its impressive list of add-on packages include more specialty channels. It really lets users customize their Sling TV subscription to meet all of their TV watching needs. Learn more about Sling TV in our Sling TV review.
Two of the add-on packages, Deportes Extra and Best of Spanish TV, are how you can be able to easily watch the Super Bowl online in Spanish! Normally, Sling TV’s starting package costs only $20 per month. There are no requirements in terms of a contract, so you can even cancel at any time.
The Deportes Extra package costs an additional $5 per month. It includes channels like ESPN Deportes (which will broadcast the Super Bowl live in Spanish), Univision, beIN Sports, and UniMás. You can watch a ton of live sports with this package including some of the best soccer matches in the world.
The Best of Spanish TV package also costs $5 extra each month and also features ESPN Deportes as well as Univision, Cine Latino, Pasiones, and De Pelicula. Pair an Antenna and OTA DVR to Not Miss a Second of Super Bowl 50 Live
While the Super Bowl is well known for having the best commercials of the year, I’ve always preferred to skip them with my DVR. The best ones inevitably show up online the next day and I’d rather spend my time watching the best football game of the season. Thankfully, even as a cable cutter you can do this with an over-the-air DVR.
If you use an antenna with the over-the-air DVR not only can you watch the Super Bowl live stream, but you can record, rewind, fast forward, and pause during the entire game. The antenna receives network broadcasts from channels like CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX and the OTA DVR does the rest. The antenna I love and always recommend, due to its 50-mile reception range, is the Mohu Leaf 50.
The over-the-air DVR market is more difficult to choose from, as you can see in our full guide here. But, we narrowed it down and ultimately recommend the Tablo. This OTA DVR goes beyond the traditional features (pause, fast forward, rewind, and record) and will actually let you watch Super Bowl streaming directly on your phone, tablet, or computer. It hooks up to the internet and you can pick up either the live TV broadcast from your antenna or watch any recordings anywhere you can get an internet connection.
