Through the 2024-2025 football season, the Big 12 has TV broadcast agreements in place with the ABC family of networks. This includes ABC and all of the ESPN channels. This Saturday the TCU vs. Oklahoma game will be aired in prime time on ABC’s main channel and ESPN3 online. Previously, it may have been difficult to watch this game if you did not have access to traditional cable. Thankfully, there are now legal options which you can find if you keep reading below!
TCU Horned Frogs vs Oklahoma Sooners Preview
TCU started the season on a tear and was included in the top-5 of the AP Poll until its difficult loss to 12th-ranked Oklahoma State in week 8. After that it fell to a ranking of 13, but bounced back to number 11 after a strong win over Kansas. With two games against ranked opponents, Oklahoma and Baylor, to close out the season the Horned Frogs certainly own their own destiny. If they beat both teams who is to say they don’t make a push into the conversation for the college football playoffs. They would certainly end up close to the top-5 and making it into the final four teams would not seem out of the question.
Oklahoma has had a nearly perfect season. Earlier in the season, it had impressive wins over ranked opponents like Tennessee and West Virginia. More recently it upset a Baylor team that was ranked 4th and looked nearly flawless until their match up. However, a loss to Texas in week 5 has been the black mark on the Sooners resume. Without it, they would certainly be fighting for the top spot in the rankings. But, the season is not over and Oklahoma certainly has a chance to close out strong. If it followed its strong victory over Baylor with wins of TCU and 4th-ranked Oklahoma State it would certainly join the conversations as the nation’s top team.
