Sling TV Offers Cheapest Way to Watch ALCS Live Stream

Sling TV

This year, the ALCS will air in its entirety on FOX and FS1. That’s great news for cord cutters! Why? Even though you might think of FS1 as just a cable TV channel, you can now get FS1 without cable or satellite TV when you use Sling TV. This is a live streaming app that lets you enjoy all of the best pay TV channels starting at only $20 per month and there’s no contract — cancel any time just like you would with Netflix. Sling TV lets you stream FS1, ESPN, TBS, and FOX (these are the channels airing the MLB Playoffs) along with a number of other awesome channels available in Sling TV’s different channel packages.

With Sling TV, you will get a full ALDS live stream on any of the most popular streaming devices, including Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, Apple and Android tablets and phones, your computer, and more. This is the cheapest and most convenient way to watch the ALCS online and the entire MLB playoffs.

Watch On-Demand Replays of All MLB Playoff Games With MLB.TV

MLB has reduced the price of its MLB.TV Premium service to $9.99 for the rest of the year, but there is a major catch. It will only let you watch on-demand replays of every playoff game over the next month and also gives you full access into Spring Training in 2017. The on-demand replays will be posted 90 minutes after the completion of each game and you can watch the ALCS games on a variety of devices.

The games are not broadcast live for everyone because of blackout restrictions. However, if you do have access to a login for a pay TV subscription, you can always authenticate MLB.TV and watch the games live. If not, the replays will be a great way to watch the action anytime you want, and there is also a ton of additional other content, like highlights and analysis on MLB.TV Premium. Plus, users gain access to MLB’s At Bat app with subscription. The $9.99 price makes it a pretty good deal for fans and certainly is an option to look into this October if you are trying to watch the ALCS online.

Watch ALCS Live Stream with PlayStation Vue

PS Vue

Sony offers another live streaming service for cord cutters called PlayStation Vue. Similar to Sling TV in many ways, PlayStation Vue lets you live stream several top pay TV channels, including FS1 (home to all ALCS games), FOX, and TBS. All of these channels will be airing MLB Playoffs games all October.

PlayStation Vue will cost you more than other live streaming options with a starting price of $29.99-$39.99, dependent upon location. Vue isn’t on as many devices as Sling TV, most notably lacking Apple TV support. Also of note, there are some mobile streaming restrictions which can black out live streaming if you aren’t on your home internet connection. Despite some inconvenience, Vue is still an excellent service and a good way to watch the ALCS online.
