Twin Peaks is written by David Lynch and Mark Frost, and is directed entirely by Lynch. This new 18-episode event series picks up exactly where the old series left off. Well, essentially, it’s set 25-years after the homecoming queen, Miss Laura Palmer, was murdered in a way that shocked the small town where she lived.
